How can I get a backup of my system when I can’t login to the software?

1. Run the CMD prompt by clicking on the windows start button the selecting RUN, in the box type: CMD
2. At the DOS prompt; type: CD\
3. To change the directory to the correct one; type: cd Program Files (x86)\Stanley PAC\Bin\Bin.NET4. Type: pacui.exe /backup
5. This will perform a backup and this is written to the default backup folder (usually C:\Stanley PAC Backups) and the file name is auto-generated to include date and time of backup EKA_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.EKB, for example "EKA_20050121_153005.EKB".

This backup can then be restored into either an upgraded or newly installed system.

Applies to:

Stanley PAC Software

Additional information:

The directory in step 3 is for a 64Bit PC. If you are using a 32 bit PC, use the following path:

cd program Files\Stanley PAC\Bin\Bin.NET
